Mövenpick Resort Kuredhivaru Maldives is located in one of the most Northern Atolls in the Maldives - Noonu Atoll, and it take approximately 45 minutes with Seaplane traveling from Male International Airport. It is one of the newer island resort that newly opened by the end of 2018.
Accommodations
There are mainly 3 different type of rooms here at Mövenpick Maldives - 30 Beach Pool Villas, 72 Overwater Pool Villas, and a 3 beach spa pool family residences. All the beach pool villas have an upper deck right above the pool, so guests can enjoy more of an unobstructed view of the ocean at the comfort of their own villa. Some of the rooms are facing Sunset so the view is quite incredible in the evening! The overwater villas here at Mövenpick have a glass bottom entrance, this is one unique feature that I love about their villa design, and this hallway looks straight out to the Indian Ocean and separates the living space and the bathroom. The room is very cozy and comfortable, and the bathroom is very open and airy. It’s got a semi-open shower and a bathtub that overlooks the pool deck and the ocean.
Activities + Spa
Here at Mövenpick Maldives, it’s known for its beautiful house reef and powder-white beaches. There are so many Hermit crabs all over the beach at night! Because of the remote location of Noonu Atoll, it is consider one of the most undisturbed parts in the Maldives! There are many water sports activities to choose from, plus a talented and experienced team here at Mövenpick to ensure fun and safe experiences!
Sun Spa by Esthederm, offers personalized treatments for individuals and couples. Guests can choose either the lush green jungle suites, or unwind in the overwater treatment room. There’s also a beach front fitness center with modern equipment, and a variety of yoga classes at the overwater pavilion.
Restaurants and Bars
There are mainly 3 restaurants, and the popular Mövenpick Coffee and Wine Lounge.
ONU Marché, the resort’s main dining serving international buffet Breakfast, Lunch, and Dinner.
Latitude 5.5, a poolside dining area that over looks the Indian Ocean. Serves international grills with a full service bar that offers light lunches, dinners and refreshing drinks until late night.
Bodumas, an overwater restaurant with romantic ambience, guests can choose to sit outdoor or indoor and enjoy 360 degrees views of the island and the Indian Ocean. The restaurant serves fresh seafood and local catch of the day, and there’s also a sushi counter.
Mövenpick Coffee and Wine Lounge is a café where guests can grab a coffee, pastry, or an ice cream. There’s a daily Mövenpick Chocolate Hour that is complementary to all guests, serving different types of chocolate, cakes, and sweets!
