LUX North Male Maldives (now Jumeirah Maldives Olhahali) is located just 15 minutes by seaplane and 60 minutes by speedboat from Male International Airport. This resort recently opened in early 2019, and it is known for its contemporary design throughout the island.

LUX* me spa here at LUX North Male has teamed up with Wellness guru Shirley Page to create a range of treatments to purify body and spirit. You can sit down with a therapist to curate a tailor program to suit your needs, whether its relaxation, detoxification, or a restorative program. All the spa treatment rooms here at LUX North Male are built overwater, with an endless view of the ocean blues. With a glass bottom design over the treatment bed, guest can look at corals and fishes that swim by during a massage.
The Gym here at LUX North Male is also built overwater, with pops of red are incorporated throughout the island. The entrance of the gym has one of the largest glass bottom panels, and the entire room is designed to have floor to ceiling window panels, allowing sunlight and ocean blues to fill the entire room.

There are 7 different types of dining outlets including room service.
GLOW restaurant, serves international cuisine and also where breakfast is served.
INTI, a Peruvian inspired Japanese culinary sensation, probably my favorite restaurant on the island. You must try the Tooth Fish.
Beach Rouge, a hint of the French Riviera vibe, mixing airy white and red as theme color overlooking the main pool and ocean. It’s the perfect place to relax and watch sunset, there’s also a lounge area where you can order cocktails and tapas.
Cafe LUX, opens from 6am in the morning, just follow the scent for freshly roasted coffee beans! They also have amazing tea selections and delicious pastries and small snacks.
Barium, an exclusive and secluded private dining room featuring a long and beautiful aquarium, it’s filled with lots of colorful tropical fishes curating a lovely ambience where you can enjoy a lovely time with friends and family.
ICI, don’t miss out on the ice-cream shop! There are so many homemade flavor combinations including Sicilian pistachio, bubblegum crema with crunchy hazelnut, and even Madagascan vanilla!
